Mobility exercises are a method of treatment that works particularly well. These help to relieve tension in your neck area and rebuild your physical strength. However, you should always ask the advice of a professional medical advice before you attempt any of the following:

Stand with your back against a wall and take one step forward. Bend your head forwards as if taking a bow then gently lift your head so that your head is straight and facing forwards. Repeat five times.

Stand up straight and move the chin in towards the chest, then lift it back up so that you're looking forwards. Repeat five times.

Stand up straight and move the head back gently so that you look up towards the ceiling, then look forwards again. Repeat five times.

Stand up straight and look forwards. Try to take the right ear to the tip of the right shoulder and then take the left ear to the tip of the left shoulder. Repeat five times on each side.

Turn your left head like you would when looking backwards over your shoulder. Imagine following a horizontal line on the wall ahead at eye level and look backwards over your right shoulder. Repeat five times.
