Police crash on way to help woman with whiplash injuries
Two police officers have suffered minor injuries after crashing their patrol car
while on a call-out to another road accident.
The officers were making their way to a car accident at Falfield in Gloucestershire
after a 37-year-old woman sustained a whiplash injury when she careered into
the central reservation.
The police vehicle attending the incident then came off the road near Gloucester
and came to rest on an embankment. No other vehicles were involved in the car
crash.
The two officers were lucky to escape without suffering any serious personal
injuries and were taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
