Compensation claim for crushed lip
A couple from Bournemouth in the UK have hired the services of a personal injury solicitor to make a compensation claim for personal injuries suffered by their three-year-old daughter in an accident at a branch of one of the UK's leading supermarkets.
The couple decided to employ the personal injury solicitors after their daughter had her bottom lip crushed beneath the rim of a freezer.
The girl's mother told the Dorset Echo, "It was horrible. She screamed and her lip was bleeding everywhere. It's unbelievable that this could happen. The least they could have done is say they were sorry and that things should have been done differently."
The girl's personal injuries took several weeks to heal and she is still upset by the accident.
A spokesperson for the supermarket said that they were aware of the compensation claim and were looking into it.
The personal injury solicitor is not quoted as commenting.
