Woman makes no win no fee claim for hand injury

A charity worker has made a no win no fee claim against the Tate Modern for injury compensation after she broke her hand whilst descending down a steel slide.

The woman from Glasgow contacted personal injury solicitors and made a compensation claim for the hand injury she sustained on the 180 feet high slide whilst visiting the London gallery last year.

She said, "I am claiming for the loss of facility of my right hand.it's been a real problem. I couldn't type, write or drive for two months.

"I'm still having physiotherapy. It's sore and sometimes keeps me awake at night. I've not got the strength back yet. I'm sure my hand will never be the same again."

A spokesperson for the gallery commented on recent reports of visitors suffering injuries and said, "Our advice has been approved following a full inspection by the local health and safety department of Southwark council. All of these injuries have been caused by visitors who have not followed the instructions for using the slides."

The woman's no win no fee compensation claim continues.
