Widow makes £300,000 mesothelioma compensation claim
A widow whose husband died from an asbestos-related cancer has made a £300,000 compensation claim against a fish and chip fryer company.
Anita Bryenton, of Warley, Halifax, contacted a personal injury solicitor and made a mesothelioma compensation claim after her husband, Colin, died in 2003 from the industrial illness.
She claims that he was exposed to asbestos whilst working at Halifax Fisheries, previously known as Frank Ford, producing fish and chip fryers, between 1966 and 1990.
It is believed that if her mesothelioma compensation claim is successful she could be awarded up to £300,000.
