Painter's widow makes asbestos compensation claim
The widow of a man who worked on the sets of the James Bond films during the 1960s and 1970s has made an asbestos compensation claim against Rank Film Productions.
Barbara Sharp decided to contact personal injury solicitors and make a compensation claim for her husband's death earlier this year.
She believes that her husband, Ronald Sharp, 59, was exposed to asbestos whilst working on the movie sets at Pinewood Studios.
He worked as a scenic painter for films including On Her Majesty's Secret Service, You Only Live Twice and Diamonds are Forever.
Mrs Sharp has made an asbestos compensation claim for £150,000 against Rank Film Productions.
She said, "My husband lost 18 years of his life because of Rank's negligence in exposing him to asbestos."
