Personal injury solicitors help widow claim for husband's illness
A widow, whose husband died from an asbestos related disease, is making a compensation claim for up to £150,000.
Edna Harrison, 78, of Brookfield, Preston contacted personal injury solicitors following her husband's death in September.
John Harrison, 77, died after many years of battling with mesothelioma, a lung disease caused by working with asbestos materials.
Shortly following his death, Mrs Harrison contacted personal injury solicitors and decided to make a compensation claim against the company which may have exposed him to asbestos.
The claim against Invensys International Holdings Ltd, previously called BTR Industries Limited, is between £100,000 and £150,000.
Mrs Harrison said, "He was a good husband and we were married for 39 years."
