Whiplash settlement for courier

A courier van driver from Newcastle in England's northeast has successfully won his whiplash claim compensation for after being involved in a road accident in the heart of Newcastle city centre.

It is understood that the 36-year-old decided to contact personal injury solicitors with a view to making a whiplash claim after chronic pain, headaches and discomfort forced him to take over a month off work.

The resulting whiplash compensation claim payout accounted both for the pain and suffering caused by his injuries as well as lost earnings for the period the man, who operates his courier service privately, was out of work.

Liability for the whiplash claim, resulting from the October 2006 accident, was accepted by the insurers of the taxi driver who caused the road accident.
