Two motorists suffered whiplash injuries when their cars collided in a serious road accident on the A56 near Edenfield.
The car crash happened on Sunday at around 3.30pm when a Ford Fiesta and a BMW 535 collided.
The driver of the Fiesta, Sharon Cross, 35, form Accrington, was rushed to the Royal Blackburn Hospital and was treated for personal injuries, which included whiplash.
