Passengers rushed to hospital after vehicle accident
Two people travelling onboard a National Express coach have been killed in a serious vehicle accident near Heathrow Airport.
A total of twelve people were rushed to hospital with personal injuries after the coach, which was travelling from London to Aberdeen, overturned on the slip road leading from the M4 to the M25.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the road accident shortly after 11.45pm on Wednesday night and performed amputations to several of the seriously injured.
A spokesperson for Hillingdon Hospital confirmed that two casualties had died in the road traffic accident and three other passengers remained in a serious condition.
Among the 65 people travelling onboard the coach, many were described as walking wounded with minor passenger injuries, including whiplash.
It is not believed any other car was involved in the vehicle accident.
