Customer could make no win no fee compensation claim
A supermarket chain has recalled packs of cereal bars after a customer discovered parts of a rat inside a bar.
The Norfolk supermarket could receive a number of no win no fee compensation claims for product liability if any more contaminated food is purchased.
The customer who found the rat's body parts made a complaint to Breckland Council stating that there was a tail in the cereal bar.
According to the Food Standards Agency, parts of the rat were "very visible" to the customer after opening the packaging.
It is unknown if the customer will contact personal injury solicitors in the future to make a no win no fee compensation claim.
