Woman has compensation claim dismissed

A 52-year-old call girl who is alleged to have bedded a high-profile England football star faces a possible jail term after having her no win no fee claim against a tabloid newspaper dismissed. Her compensation claim would have been based on her denial that she had ever sold her body.

Her no win no fee claim was dismissed before it was even due to start at the High Court in Manchester after it emerged that in an earlier accident at work compensation claim she had admitted to working as a call girl and sleeping with as many as five clients a night.

As soon as these facts came to light the woman's compensation solicitors dropped the no win no fee claim.

The dismissal of the no win no fee claim will come as a relief to the England football star, who faced the possibility of being called as a witness had it gone to court.
