Jaguar driver may be valuable car crash witness

Police in Northampton are seeking a Jaguar driver who may have witnessed a car accident that injured a pedestrian and his dog.

A green Peugeot 206 crashed into the pair on the 12th April, at 8am, on the Harborough Road.

The personal injury sustained by the 55-year-old comprised cuts to his head and a broken leg, but his dog received severe injuries that led to vets finding it necessary to have the creature put down.

Police believe that a silver car, which was probably a Jaguar, stopped at the scene of the car crash. Police have requested that this driver, or any other witness to the car accident, should call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615.
