Police appeal to witnesses after driver leaves car accident scene
Police are appealing to witnesses after a man they believed to be carrying a firearm left the scene of a car accident.
The car crash occurred on the junction of West Lane and Devonshire Street, Keighley, at around 3.10pm on the 27th October.
The driver of a pink Fiat Punto left the scene of the road accident after colliding into a Toyota Avensis. It is unknown if the driver of the Toyota suffered personal injuries in the crash.
Detective Inspector Shaun Berry, of Keighley CID, said, "Witnesses say the man seemed to be carrying what could have been a rifle or some other firearm.
"We are keen to hear from anyone with information.
"No shots were fired and no one was seriously injured in the crash."
