Woman contacts personal injury solicitors to make claim

A financial executive who suffered brain damage in a road accident has made a compensation claim for £10 million.

Ingrid Van Wees consulted personal injury solicitors after she sustained serious head injuries in a near fatal road accident in May 2002.

The crash occurred in Farringdon, Central London, when the scooter Ms Van Wees was travelling on crashed into another vehicle.

The Dutch-born 40-year-old claims that she was forced to give up her £90,000-a-year job at Vodaphone in August 2002 because of her permanent brain injuries.

Her personal injury solicitor, Marcus Grant, said, "That was the moment she realised she would never be able to recover her pre-accident potential."

Ms Van Wees has decided to make a compensation claim for £9,956,319 for her personal injuries and her loss of earnings.
