Bull calming hero fights for life
A Scottish personal injury solicitor is in hospital with serious personal injuries after he was attacked by a rampaging bull that had escaped from an abattoir.
Heroically, when the Dunblane personal injury solicitor heard the bull was causing havoc on the high street, he left his offices to try and pacify the animal thinking that his experience in rounding up horses might be of use.
However, the bull ran at him and caused him to fall, hitting his head on a kerbstone. The animal then trampled over his prostrate body.
The personal injury solicitor was taken to Stirling Royal Infirmary where he was treated for bruising to the brain, bruising to the heart and a fractured skull before being moved to Edinburgh Western General Hospital where he is fighting for his life.
