Compensation claim for elbow dislocation on trampoline

A claim for personal injury compensation has been making headlines after an accident at a gym led to a teenager suffering a limb dislocation.

The young boy, who is aged 13, was on a trampoline at a play session run by a gym club in Ipswich.

It was alleged that the teenager fell and was hurt after a gym club employee climbed on to the trampoline. Subsequently, it was discovered that the youngster's elbow had been dislocated.

The 13-year-old had to wear a sling and was excluded from playing sport for approximately three months, reports the media.

According to an online press story, the gym club has admitted negligence but also caused upset and anger by banning the boy from its club premises while legal action was underway.

Negotiations are now reportedly under way between club solicitors and the boy's lawyers to agree the personal injury compensation claim.
