Woman makes claim against husband

A woman has made a passenger injury claim against her husband after she suffered a severe personal injury when the car he was driving them in crashed.

The female passenger suffered a broken back which has caused significant spinal column damage and harm to the muscle surrounding it.

The car accident occurred when the Renault Laguna span out of control in West Sussex and flipped onto its roof.

After suffering serious injuries, the woman sought compensation for her injuries from her husband's car insurance company.

While liability for the accident was accepted, the compensation amount was disputed and was to be decided by a judge at the High Court.

However an out of court settlement was reached and passenger injury compensation in the region of £500,000 was believed to have been gained.
