No win no fee solicitor sought by woman dragged by bus

A 64-year-old woman is looking for a no win, no fee solicitor after she was dragged along the road by a bendy bus.

The pensioner suffered severe bruising after she became trapped in the doors of a bendy bus in Coventry.

The bus driver failed to see the trapped passenger and only stopped after the woman had been dragged 90ft along the road.

The grandmother said the driver 'apologised' but refused to help her and drove off leaving her bleeding by the side of the road.

She said: "I was sitting near the rear doors so those opened and I was halfway through when all of a sudden the doors just closed.

"I desperately tried to free myself as the driver drove off."

Following the accident, the woman is currently unable to walk without a stick and has bruises covering her right arm and right leg.

The woman is now looking to appoint a no win, no fee solicitor to make a personal injury claim against the bus company responsible.
