Man makes injury claim against London Underground

A man who fell down a set of steps at a London tube station has made a £300,000 injury claim for compensation.

Kailash Sharma, 51, was working as a line manager when he suffered an ankle injury at Wanstead Station in 2003.

He later contacted personal injury solicitors and claimed that he was forced to quit his job because of the personal injury.

In his accident claim, Mr Sharma alleges that steps at the tube station were poorly lit and caused him to trip and twist his ankle.

He also claims that he suffered a severe bout of depression following the work accident and believes that he will not be able to work in the future.

The case for Mr Sharma's injury claim against London Underground is expected to be heard at the High Court in the near future.
