Man recovers in hospital following accident at work

A man is in hospital recovering from serious personal injuries after being involved in an accident at work.

The 22-year-old man was working at the Rehab recycling plant on Monaghan Road, Cork, when the industrial accident happened.

He became trapped under a load-all and was stuck there for nearly an hour before he could be released and taken to hospital.

An investigation has been launched into the accident at work and is being carried out by the Health Service Executive and the Garda Technical Unit.

The man is believed to be making a good recovery from his workplace injuries.
