Personal injury claim solicitor helps man win case
A man who had his front tooth wrongly removed as a child has been awarded £28,000 with the help of a personal injury claim solicitor.
Zac Worthington, 18, was just eight years old when he visited the dentist and has been left with dental disfigurement since having the minor operation.
Several hours after Zac's tooth was removed, the dentist realised that he had made a mistake and attempted to re-implant the tooth without using any anaesthesia.
The teenager underwent an extensive course of orthodontic treatment to ensure his teeth were in an optimal position, which was finally achieved in 2005 with four upper veneers.
Following his treatment, Zac decided to contact a personal injury claim solicitor and make a compensation claim for clinical negligence.
Zac will need further treatment on his teeth during his twenties and again every seven to ten years.
With liability for medical negligence admitted, Zac was awarded a total of £28,000 with the help of his personal injury claim solicitor.
