Man awarded personal injury compensation for attack

A man who was pulled off his bike and punched in the face has been awarded £100 in personal injury compensation.

Lee Sayle suffered head injuries in the bicycle accident, after 20-year-old Lee Antony Wilson, of Lowca, Cumbria, dragged him of his bike and viciously attacked him.

In court, Mr Wilson was also accused of kicking Mr Sayle several times when he was on the ground, causing several personal injuries.

According to Mr Wilson, he had been told that Mr Sayle had been riding his bike on the grave of one of his relatives and lashed out at him in anger.

Mr Wilson was given a 12-month community order, and ordered to pay Mr Sayle £100 in personal injury compensation.
