Essex lorry accident compensation could be claimed

Lorry accident compensation may be claimed after a car crashed into the stationary articulated vehicle on the A12 near Witham, Essex.

The car contained five people, including the driver. A man and a woman suffered relatively minor injuries, whereas two other men suffered "traumatic" injuries, and there was one female fatality. The lorry driver was uninjured.

The two most severely injured men were airlifted by medical crews to separate hospitals, the Royal London Hospital and Queen's Hospital, for treatment, and the man and woman who sustained less major personal injuries were taken by ambulance to Colchester General Hospital.

Where exactly the lorry was stopped, and why, has not yet been reported.

Stanway Road Policing Unit is asking for any witnesses of the road traffic accident to contact it with information which could help determine the cause of the incident.

Investigating officers hope to find out who is liable for the crash. Once the police discover who is responsible then victims of the accident, including the family of the woman who died, could claim for lorry accident compensation for their pain and suffering.
