Former health worker seeks compensation

A former psychiatric worker from Norwich has issued a road accident claim writ for personal injury compensation after an incident in which a dangerous driver hit him as he crossed a road left him with serious personal injuries.

The road accident claim writ issued by his personal injury solicitors details how the December 2003 incident has left the 42-year-old angry, irritable, confused and suffering short-term memory-loss. It adds that he now has difficulty concentrating, cannot work, suffers from a volatile temperament and is 'severely dependent' on his wife.

Six months after the accident, the offending driver was convicted of driving without due care and attention.

It is reported that the road accident claim writ details the man's determination to seek 'in excess of £100,000' in traffic accident compensation, as well as sums accounting for future damages.
