Solicitors help girl claim car accident compensation
A girl who was seriously injured in road traffic accident has been awarded almost £6 million in car accident compensation.
The youngster, from Attleborough, Norfolk, was only two years old when she was involved in a near fatal car accident in Walshford, North Yorkshire in 1997.
The car in which she was travelling in was hit by a van, causing her to suffer permanent personal injuries including epilepsy, mental learning disabilities, and deafness in both ears.
If she hadn't been strapped into her car seat safely by her parents, she could have sustained even more severe, if not fatal injuries in the motor accident.
Following the car crash, her parents decided to consult a personal injury solicitor and make a car accident compensation claim against the van driver's insurers stating that her permanent injuries require her to receive 24 hour care.
At the High Court in London, the girl was awarded a total of £5,750,000 in injury compensation for her car accident compensation claim.
