Medical negligence claim

Disco dentist dances his way into courtroom
A US woman is making a medical negligence claim for personal injury compensation after a dancing dentist nearly drilled into her eye.
The 31-year-old New Yorker was allegedly boogying to the sounds of legendary dance track Car Wash as it played on the radio whilst he was filling one of her molars.
As Rose Royce's popular 1976 hit reached its disco inspired crescendo, the dentist is alleged to have slipped and drilled into the woman's face, puncturing her sinus cavity. The inch-long drill bit ended up lodged next to her eye socket and was only millimetres away from blinding her.
Understandably traumatised by the shocking incident, the woman consulted a personal injury solicitor who helped her prepare a case for a medical negligence compensation claim.
She is now suing for $300,000 on the basis that the dentist was "performing rhythmical steps and movements to the song Car Wash which was on the radio".
