Coach accident compensation for victims of collision

Lorry or coach accident compensation could be claimed by the victims of an accident on the M11 near Stansted Airport.

The two vehicles collided between junctions eight and nine, and there were two fatalities.

Fire crews attended the scene of the incident. The lorry was found on its side down the embankment of the highway, and the coach was upright but badly damaged.

The driver of the lorry and one of the passengers on the coach involved died as a result of their severe personal injuries.

Three of the 49 passengers also suffered back injuries for which they were admitted to hospital, and others were also taken for medical checks but have since been determined fit to leave, suffering only minor cuts and bruises.

Essex Police is asking for any witnesses of the accident to come forward with information. This could help investigating officers determine who is liable for the crash.

When someone is found responsible for the road traffic accident, any individuals who suffered personal injuries may be able to claim coach accident compensation.

Similarly, the family of the deceased coach passenger or lorry driver may be able to claim for their loss, depending on what investigations reveal about the circumstances of the collision.
