Car crash claim for accident in Rickmansworth

A 30-year-old motorcyclist has been injured in a road traffic accident in Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire, near Watford, which might result in a car crash claim being made.

The crash occurred on a roundabout when the biker's vehicle collided with a car.

Emergency services attended the scene some minutes after a 999 call was made, and the motorbike rider was taken by ambulance to Watford General Hospital.

His injuries were described as non life-threatening, but their severity was not reported. The driver of the car was believed to have sustained no personal injury.

Police will investigate the events which led to the collision in order to determine liability for the incident.

If the car driver is responsible for the accident the biker might decide to make a compensation claim. However, if the biker is the responsible party, it is unlikely that the driver will make a car crash claim since he was not injured in the accident.
