Solicitors launch unique brain injury claim partnership

A solicitor and brave dad whose daughter was born with a severe brain injury has launched an innovative initiative to help people with brain damage.

In partnership with another lawyer, the scheme will allow people to make brain injury claims on a no win, no fee basis with the assurance that they can receive up to £125,000 while their claims are still in the litigation phase.

Called Rehab4Life, the scheme will draw on the two Preston-based men's experiences in representing brain injury claims, as well as the father's personal experience of how families are affected by the process.

Two of the solicitor's children have cerebral palsy, allowing him a unique insight into the issues and pressures affecting clients.

His partner in the no win, no fee brain injury claim initiative comments, "[We] know from personal experience that traumatic brain injury patients need intensive input from an early stage - 30 minutes of physiotherapy a month isn't good enough. "Rehab4Life means the patient is in control, there are no long delays or uncertainties and the chances of a better recovery are substantially increased. It's a win-win situation in which the patient is able to get on with his or her life."
