Man's foot bears brunt of singer Blunt's SUV
The singer-songwriter James Blunt's chances of escaping a lengthy and potential costly car accident compensation claim have improved after police decided not to press charges against the 33-year-old.
The British music star was leaving a party in the early hours of the morning in Los Angeles this year when he ran over the foot of a paparazzi photographer.
The full extent of the personal injury suffered by the man is not known. However, as Blunt's agent claims that the singer was only travelling at 2mph in his SUV at the time, it is assumed that the injury was unlikely to be serious.
Blunt was reported to be unaware that an accident had taken place, which led to some media outlets characterising the incident as a hit-and-run car accident.
There is no news yet as to whether the paparazzi photographer will be using the services of a no win no fee solicitors to seek car accident compensation for the personal injuries he has suffered.
