A new company has been launched to solve the problem of overcharging solicitors.

The Birmingham based company, Legal Costmasters, will be working on a no win, no fee basis for examining legal bills for businesses.

There can be a number of reasons why a business might require a lawyer and in some cases this can be the result of a personal injury claim made by an employee injured in an accident at work.

Legal Costmasters have been created to make sure companies are not being overcharged by solicitors and any saving they are able to make will be subject to a charge.

Chief Executive, Gary Smith, said, "The feeling of being stung by a legal bill is a cliché associated with the legal trade that has its roots in the profession's billing culture.

"Seeking good legal advice is essential to ensuring a company's safety and security and in overcoming adversity.

The no win, no fee company also plans to work with private clients to help reduce their legal fees.
