No win no fee solicitors take veterans' claim to MOD
Ex-servicemen used as human guinea pigs by the Ministry of Defence in
experiments are set to claim millions of pounds in compensation though no win,
no fee solicitors.
Veterans used in experiments between the 1940s and the 1980s at the Defence
Science and Technology Laboratory, Porton Down, are seeking personal injury
compensation.
The group used for military research claim they were unaware that they were
being subjected to chemical warfare agents.
They have since been in contact with no win, no fee solicitors who say that if the
MOD does not come up with an out-of-court settlement in two months, the case
will be taken to court on a no win, no fee basis.
